It would seem that the white van is the main van that the police track for criminal activity but why is this?

Well to start with, over the past few years the white van has been the accomplice to many criminals from burglaries and theft to abductions and even rape. Why is it that so many criminals choose a white van over the thousands of other vehicles out there?

Well over the years the vehicle of the criminal has changed and it would seem that the modern times have chosen the white van. Here are some of the vehicles that have been top of the criminals most wanted list over the past century.

Ford V8 B-400

This is of course the most famous of the criminal cars because it was the model that the famous outlaws Bonnie and Clyde used to rob banks, small stores and gas stations. This is certainly a car that you look at and can easily relate it to Bonnie and Clyde or the mafia.

1966 Chevrolet Impala

This one was the choice of a serial killer never caught in the 1960’s. The killer has not been found and the car still stays hidden too so he is either very clever or sat somewhere very far away. The only people that he went for were in cars themselves. It was reported by several victims and also drawn out several times. He murdered five people and attempted to do it to another seven.

So as you can see the vehicles that criminals choose are ever changing and it is only so long before the criminal chooses another one over the white van. The van seems to be chosen because it is suitable for any criminal activity which is the only downside to the vehicle.

The plus side to vans is a much better one, they help thousands of people and businesses across the world every single day. commercial vehicle leasing has helped even further by providing affordable means of getting hold of a van. fiat van leasing and Volkswagen van leasing are just some of the options out there to choose from.
