The new Ford Taurus in Jacksonville has car enthusiast taking a deep look, and eyeballs peering from everywhere. Ford has created a much better looking Taurus than it previously has with an all new look for everyone to see. The 2010 Ford Taurus has a beautiful new profile with sleaker, much more powerful looking, the redesign with subtle changes is much more pleasing to the eyes. The biggest changes to the 2010 Taurus with availabilities of 3 sizes of tires and rims available, along with a lowered roof line and 2” wider than last years models for better handling and a smoother ride. Makes this new Taurus a match-up beyond belief for its competitors. The 2010 Taurus, however, remains a large vehicle. Sure, it sits 1.1 inches lower, but it’s still 61” in height—2 inches or more higher than most every other vehicle in its class, And while width can convey coolness, 76.2 inches is 2 inches wider than a Chrysler 300C and 3.5 inches wider than a BMW 5 Series.
The Iron Pumping Taurus SHO model looks almost exactly like its lesser model. Subtle SHO images appear on the rear deck and C-pillars, and the front bumper LEDs have a silver bezel instead of a black one. As well as a trunk lid spoiler, two chrome exhaust pipes, and a mean looking new grille. The letters SHO are all about dominance, but this one seems cool enough not to show off its hot rod attitude. From the outside to the inside the SHO Taurus is even more consistent.
Your standard Taurus comes with more traditional faux-wood and synthetic trim, while the SHO aquires a special imprint, glossy black dash trim, and silvery highlights inside and out. With beautiful power bucket seats that enhance great comfort and control to the driver, not to mention how spacious the interior is, with a great amount of head space. Keeping up the trend setting Ford Taurus is just one of multiple reasons change is here to stay.
